Congratulations on your participation in TAP. For many of you, this will be the first time that you have travelled or lived overseas and you could not have chosen a better destination. The coastal city of Perth offers a fabulous climate, laid-back lifestyle, white sandy beaches and cute quokkas!
Edith Cowan University has a large contingent of international students, many of whom live at the Campus Living Villages, which you will call home for four months. Every day you will have the opportunity to live and study with young people from all over the world while practicing your English and making life-long friends and memories. The Tokyo City University Australia Program at Murdoch University is an exciting learning and cultural experience tailored especially for students from Tokyo City University. Your program includes several weeks of intensive English language tuition from our partner on the Murdoch University campus followed by participation in specially designed Liberal Arts units. These units are designed to introduce you to interesting new areas of study, and give you an opportunity to learn some distinctive things about Australian culture, and natural and urban landscapes. You will also have opportunities to visit many natural and cultural attractions in Perth, Fremantle and beyond – both on organised outings and through independent travel. You will live in our vibrant University Village, sharing accommodation with students from diverse backgrounds, and you will be supported by a local buddy network to help you get the most from your experience.
